Opening Reception of KUMESO: Solo Exhibit of Art by Sylvia Munodawafa

Opening Friday, September 6th at 5pm, Pinwheel Gallery presents "KUMESO" a solo show of artwork by Cleveland artist, Sylvia Munodawafa. Kumeso is the word for face in Shona, the language of Sylvia's country of origin, Zimbabwe. This theme is evident through her sculpted and painted masks, in which she has drawn inspiration from the rich cultural landscapes of Africa.
