Peter Case

Best known for the time he spent with the Plimsouls (the '80s New Wave group that had a hit with the infectious "A Million Miles Away"), singer-songwriter Peter Case started making solo albums way back in 1986. While he hasn't put anything out recently, he's about to enter the studio to record a new disc that he has said will sound similar to 2007's Grammy-nominated Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John, an album of sparse acoustic tunes. Expect to hear several new tracks from it during this unplugged performance. (Niesel)
