For its latest exhibition, Canopy Collective hosts Pittsburgh-based artist Lizzee Solomon’s first exhibition in Cleveland. Lizzee Solomon’s work is inspired by comics and illustration, as well as eclectic sources such as Ren & Stimpy, The Hairy Who and Mexican woodcarving. In her most recent work, Solomon uses a laser cutter on wood and plastic, as well as vacuum forming to create small three-dimensional sculptures for textural wall pieces that combine elements of illustration and abstraction. Lizzee Solomon’s Stamina opens with a reception from 6 to 10 tonight. Following the opening, the works will remain on view through Dec. 11. Free. (Usmani)
