The 2nd Annual Cleveland Playwrights Festival

The 2nd Annual Cleveland Playwrights Festival is a free, weekend-long celebration of the art of dramatic writing and its practitioners in Northeast Ohio. Presented by Playwrights Local, the Festival features open writing workshops, staged readings of new plays, and a live performance of a podcast play. Although spotlighting area dramatists, the Festival also caters to the audience through post-show talkbacks and receptions with the artists. New for this year’s festival are partnered sessions with The Dramatists Guild, The Manhattan Project - Cleveland Lab, and Radio People. The 2nd Annual Cleveland Playwrights Festival runs November 4 through 6 at Waterloo Arts
