Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in 2012, folkie Donovan makes music that hearkens back to a different era. With his songs about the “hurdy gurdy man” and “mellow yellow,” he’s a real hippie at heart. Tonight at 7 at Cuyahoga Community College’s Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts in the Black Box Theater , Lauren Onkey, the Rock Hall’s vice president of education and programs, will conduct a Hall of Fame Series interview with the man. The event is free but reservations must be made through the Rock Hall website in advance and you must sign up for a Rock Hall membership. (Niesel)
