The King Khan & BBQ Show/The Gartrells/Jivviden

Ruler, mystic, or priest? King Khan is part political activist, part spiritual guru, and all rock ‘n’ roll royalty. He and his BBQ Show resurrect the sounds of the ’60s through a combination of soul, R&B, and psychedelia. On stage, Khan really shines as he executes his captivating sorcery as a live performer: the man shuffles and jiggles with the energy of Little Richard. (Bethany Kaufman)
