This weekend, you’re invited to attend all three versions of Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi noir epic Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford as 21st-century detective Rick Deckard. He’s tasked with hunting down murderous clones in a rainy world plagued by urban and economic decay. The film also stars Rutger Hauer in a memorable role and features breathtaking special effects, given that it was made in the early ’80s, at about the same time as the original Tron. This was the peak of Ford’s fame — he was Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and Rick Deckard all at once — and he’s awesome in one of the great sci-fi films of the era. The original 1982 cut shows tonight at 9:25 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. The 10th anniversary edition shows at 9:10 on Saturday night and the 25th anniversary edition shows at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday. Each cut varies slightly. Tickets are $9. (Sam Allard)
