Walk All Over Waterloo

It may be December, but Collinwood’s monthly Walk All Over Waterloo is definitely worth bundling up and trudging through the neighborhood. From 5 to 10 p.m. today, the galleries, artists’ studios, small businesses and non-profit organizations of Waterloo are hosting a plethora of art, music and other events. Blue Arrow Records hosts a Double Record Release Show for Bad Luck Jonathon’s full-length album and Ethan Daniel Davidson’s 7-inch single. “The Tease Strikes Back” with Star Wars Burlesque at the Beachland Ballroom. Zygote Press’ Ink House hosts an open house and card making party from 6 to 8 p.m. Prints, calendars and other items will be available for purchase. Loren Naji’s Satellite Gallery debuts new installations by Crystal Beirsdorfer, Sage Byham, Bob Drake and Nancy Fraizer. Waterloo Arts and the Maria Neil Art Project host closing receptions for Derf’s Baron of Prospect Avenue and Alternative Movie Posters II, respectively. Praxis Fiber Workshop hosts a second performance of Lindsey Cashews’ Glitz_Trash, featuring live models wearing the artists’ creations. Glitz_Trash remains on view at Praxis through Dec. 28. Free.
