Look, it’s a Tuesday, and we’re banking on the fact that maybe -- just maybe -- you might have an urge to do something more directly “educational,” than on Friday or Saturday. You may have seen the news that Lake Erie is once again home to all manner of disgusting algae blooms. It’s sort of a big deal, scientifically. Parma’s new (and very cool) Watershed Stewardship Center hosts guest expert Jeff Reuter of The Ohio State University F.T. Stone Laboratory this evening. He’ll explain how and why algae can bloom along Lake Erie’s shallows and why it’s important to be informed. It won’t be super long or anything -- it starts at 6:30 -- and afterward you can go grab a beer at any number of Parma dives. Don’t sue us! We’re just trying to diversify your social calendar!
