Werks for Us

One of area’s last remaining weekend-long outdoor jam festivals for the year, Werk Out kicks off today at Legend Valley. It features a slew of Ohio acts including jam bands such as Papadosio and Ekoostik Hookah, both of whom play host to their own damn festivals. While the line-up leads toward the jam side of things, electronic acts such as GRIz and EOTO, a dubstep duo featuring members of String Cheese Incident keep things eclectic. The Werks, which perform all three nights, play a trippy mix of jazz fusion and electronica. Three-day passes will cost you $100. (Niesel) thewerkoutfestival.com
