"What the Butler Saw" by Joe Orton

What the Butler Saw starts “innocently” enough, with an attempt by psychiatrist Doctor Prentice to seduce Geraldine Barclay, an applicant for the position secretary. But the unexpected arrival of Mrs. Prentice on the scene is only the first of many interruptions: the police, a government inspector and a bell-boy are soon running amok in a flurry of mistaken and concealed identities, states of undress, gunfire and the search for a missing “part” of a statue of Sir Winston Churchill. "What the Butler Saw" is part of WRP's $5 Bucks Staged Reading Series
