Architectural Digest is Obsessed with Heartwood Coffee Roastery in Hudson

In an article titled "The Most Beautiful Coffee Shop in Every State in America," Architectural Digest selected Hudson-based Heartwood Coffee Roastery as the most stunning place to get caffeinated in Ohio.

The shop, which serves up its own roasted coffee daily, has everything the folks at the national design magazine were looking for in a proper modern aesthetic — bright, white and Instagram-friendly. Or, as the article's intro noted, the sort of place that puts "yesterday’s run-of-the-mill cafés with mismatched furnishings and dark colors to shame."

Architectural Digest was most impressed with the coffee spot's subway tile, crown molding and the salvaged-wood design in front of the bar.
