Chef Nate Williams has left the kitchen of Bogtrotters Doorstep (1848 W. 25th St., 216-861-5515), the amazing hoagie shop that he launched three years ago next to Old Angle Tavern. His last night was two weeks ago.

"I just moved on from Bogtotters," Williams says. "It was an amicable split. I wanted to do some other stuff."

Old Angle, always a partner in the operation, will take over full ownership, says Williams.

"Hopefully everything will stay the same," says Williams. "I passed along the recipes, showed them how everything was done."

For now, Williams will be working at Spice Kitchen.

"I love Ben [Bebenroth], love his food and I just wanted to come work with him and learn some new stuff," says the chef, who for years worked alongside Karen Small at Flying Fig.
