North Union Indoor Winter Farmers Market to Relocate to Market Hall at Van Aken District through March

This Saturday, March 2, marks a new beginning for North Union Farmers Market. For years, the year-round local foods provider has taken up residence in one space or another in or around Shaker Square. Starting this week, the Indoor Winter Farmers Market will take up residence in the Market Hall at Van Aken District (3441 Tuttle Rd., Shaker Heights).

"This is an exciting new venue and we are pleased to be a part of the Van Aken District,” says NUFM Executive Director Donita Anderson. “Our farms will be warm and tucked in among the current amazing stands.”

Winter offerings, all locally grown or produced, include root vegetables, winter greens, baked goods, dairy products, farm-fresh eggs, honey, maple syrup, poultry, beef and pork.

The markets will run Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through March 30. The market will commence its 24th year outdoors at Shaker Square on Saturday April 6.
