While we should be hanging on to the dregs of summer for dear life, many are already gearing up for the fall season with Oktoberfest celebrations kicking off in Northeast Ohio this Labor Day weekend.
Now in Munich, the homebase of Oktoberfest, official
celebrations run from late September though October — meaning, yes, it's okay to hoist your steins freely over two month's time.
Still, Labor Day Weekend, seems a little early. Nonetheless, the annual
Cleveland Oktoberfest soldiers on Friday through Monday at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, featuring all the German
food, beer and music you can handle.
Admission is $13 for adults (or $10 online); children 12 and under are free, and yes, parking is free.
If the event seems a little early, know there will be plenty more Oktoberfest events throughout autumn in Northeast Ohio.
