Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt Divulges Plans for Third Shop

Brothers Adrian and Cosmin Bota already have made waves in Cleveland Heights and Ohio City thanks to the delicious organic frozen yogurt they dispense at their Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt shops. Well, plans are in the works for a new Cleveland location at Euclid and E. 115th, across the street from the Cleveland Institute of Art.

But this will be no ordinary Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt, says Adrian. In fact, it will be called something else entirely (other than the Piccadilly part, which will remain).

"It's going to be something different that nobody in Cleveland — or anywhere in Ohio, really — is doing," he promises. "The concept will be pretty cool. It's just starting to trend on the Coasts, but hasn't made its way out from there yet. We think it's something that can have some legs."

In fact, when the Bota brothers were first formulating plans to go into business, they were deciding between the frozen yogurt concept and this one with which to launch. He's pretty confident both ideas are winners. All he'll admit about the product is that it is dessert related.

Bota says that he's thrilled to put stakes down in the Uptown area given the amount of current and planned development in his new neighborhood.

"The day after we signed, Happy Dog announced that they're coming in," he notes. "The crowd that we're looking for — that young, urban population — will be at Coquette [Patisserie], they'll be at Happy Dog, and at the newly expanded Cleveland Institute of Art, and all the other things that are coming to the neighborhood."

Bota says the doors should be open sometime in April.
