Now with state-wide distribution, Western Reserve Distillers has teamed up with Prosperity Social Club for a special Savor Summer Tremont Vodka Release Party that takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Prosperity Social Club.

“As a small, family-owned business committed to locally sourced organic ingredients, it’s only natural we’d want to personally introduce ourselves to our local neighbors first,” says Western Reserve Distillers founders Ann and Kevin Thomas in a press release announcing the event.

Folks from Western Reserve will be on-site to answer questions, share samples and talk about just how they handcraft their organic vodka made with non-GMO grains. Complimentary passed hors d’oeuvres will accompany the pre-batched tasters, and there will be a special $7 drink menu for the event that will include a Catfish Collins, Mr. Bitterness and other “citrus forward” specialties.

“We know it’s a big weekend for social gatherings, so we’ll be offering a light, affordable menu of elevated cookout foods like andouille sausage sandwich with Brazilian eggplant relish, maple roasted chicken thigh taco with Carolina slaw and jalapeno-melon salsa or a roasted vegetable and halloumi cheese skewer with chimichurri sauce,” says Prosperity Social Club owner Bonnie Flinner. “Add handcut fries or our housemade potato salad and it’s the perfect snack to tide you over until that evening backyard barbecue.”

Local honky tonk heroes the Cory Grinder Band will be on hand to provide some tunes.

There's no cover charge, but there are limited quantities of hors d'oeuvres and vodka samples.
