To celebrate National Tequila Day, which takes place on Wednesday, July 24, Punch Bowl Social, the bar and restaurant located on the East Bank of the Flats, will serve up a number of special cocktails.
The specially themed drinks include the following: El Macho, a drink made with El Jimador Reposado, muddled cucumber and house-made cardamom syrup, and fresh lime juice; Watermelon Polo Punch, a blend of El Jimador Reposado Tequila, Teakoe's Watermelon Spearmint Tea, McClary Bro's Watermelon Shrub, house-made strawberry syrup, and fresh lime juice; a Barbados Tonic made with Sauza Blue Silver Tequila, Velvet Falernum, simple syrup, fresh lime juice and fever tree Indian tonic; and the El Diablo crafted with El Jimador Reposado Tequila, Giffard Cassis, fresh lime juice and ginger beer.
The punch is available in a single serving or in a shareable format for four or eight people.
