Second Dynomite Burgers to Open Uptown

A year and a half after Zack Bruell opened Dynomite Burgers, Cleveland's version of Shake Shack located in PlayhouseSquare, the local restaurateur has announced plans to expand his burger operation across town.

Beginning this spring, locals will be able to get their burger 'n fry fix uptown, in the space next to the Cleveland Institute of Art expansion.

While Bruell plans to bring over Dynomite's signature, budget-friendly menu items, which include $6 burgers, $7 chili dogs, and $2.50 fries, the new eatery will also offer soups, milkshakes, beer, and even sushi. It'll also include seats for 80, both indoors and outdoors.

"We want this place to be more casual than what we'd do the other restaurants," Bruell, who has a total of eight restaurants in the city, told Cleveland.com.

"I look at it as a whole new restaurant in the area - one I think will appeal to students and faculty as well as staff working at [University Hospitals] medical facilities, but residents in Cleveland and Cleveland Heights," he said.

Folks can expect an April opening.
