The Ohio City Farm Stand is Open for the Season

At nearly six acres, the Ohio City Farm is one of the largest urban farms in the United States. The land is farmed by organizations such as Refugee Response and Cleveland Crops, which serve to empower refugees to become self-sufficient and create employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.

While much of the food grown there goes to local restaurants like Great Lakes Brewing and Flying Fig, an even greater amount is sold at the Ohio City Farm Stand, a shipping container turned retail spot designed by LAND studio. The stand sells straight-from-the-farm produce like leafy greens, fresh herbs, beets, kohlrabi, garlic, peppers, tomatoes and various types of summer squash.

The stand accepts cash and credit cards, but also Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and EBT, ensuring that all community members have access to fresh, healthy food options.

The farm stand is open Fridays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through November. It is located at the corner of West 24th and Bridge, right by Market Garden Brewery’s production facility.
