1e4a/1245096561-nat-king-cole.jpgActors’ Summit launches a new project tonight: the American Mirrors summer repertory festival, which brings four small shows — three of them one-man portraits of American cultural icons — to two Hudson locations. The series opens with Unforgettable, artistic director Neal Thackaberry’s portrait of Nat “King” Cole. Reggie Scott (pictured) stars as the music legend, singing, playing piano and telling Cole’s life story. Also opening tonight is Mark Twain: Semi-Literate Lecturer, Liar and Loafer by Ashland theater professor Ric Goodwin, who has been telling Twain’s stories for 25 years, grabbing quotes from the author’s works. Unforgettable opens at 8 tonight at Actors’ Summit (86 Owen Brown St., Hudson), with performances continuing through July 26. Mark Twain: Semi-Literate Lecturer, Liar and Loafer opens at 7:30 tomorrow at the Hudson Library (96 Library St., Hudson) with performances through July 26. Call 330.342.0800 or go to actorssummit.org for more info. Tickets: $7-$28. — Michael Gill
