4/11: Hidden Cleveland Tour

Posted By on Tue, Apr 6, 2010 at 12:59 PM

Despite Cleveland’s propensity for leveling its history and charm, there are still some hidden little places where the past tenaciously lurks. Those places are the subject of the Hidden Cleveland tours, returning for a second year today. Lolly the Trolley will transport folks to semi-secret spots, winding up at a local restaurant for appetizers and drinks. This afternoon’s tour will take guests to the downtown Cleveland Public Library Special Collections, PlayhouseSquare’s Hanna Theatre, the Slovenian National Home on E. 64th and St. Clair, and the Ukrainian Labor Temple in Tremont. Next Sunday, Lolly will carry visitors to the Intermuseum Conservation Association on the near west side, AsiaTown Center, the Kies-Murphy House at 42nd and Prospect, and the Terminal Tower Observation Deck. Both tours last from 2-5 p.m. Tickets are $25. For more info or to buy tickets, go to downtowncleveland.com. — Anastasia Pantsios
