Marcelita's

This dim cantina hosts blues and rock bands during and after dinner. Mexican decor includes pottery and photos of Pancho Villa with his motorcycle.

It's been almost 30 years since Marcelita introduced Northeast Ohio to the wonders of tacos, tostadas, and chimichangas. While Mexican eateries are now standard stuff, this delightfully decorated Hudson mainstay remains as welcoming as ever. The food no longer seems exotic, but the ingredients are fresh and flavors complex. (Cheesy enchiladas in a dark, earthy mole are standout examples.) Check out the impressive selection of tequilas, either neat or in macho margaritas.
