The Sky Is YoursThis rarely screened French movie from 1944 follows a boring married couple who kick things up when they take an interest in flying. But that's not why you should go to this event. Cinematheque director John Ewing was recently named a knight in the Order of Arts of Letters of the Republic of France for the cultural work he's done over the years. Before the movie, which is one of Ewing's all-time faves, he'll receive his well-deserved award in a special ceremony. Does this mean we have to call him Sir John from now on? Cinematheque.
