We've never thought of Norway as a particularly funny country (blame it on the vikings — always so fucking serious). But in this new dark comedy, it's a very funny place indeed. A frustrated housewife realizes how dismal her life has become when the perfect couple moves next door. The movie scooped up a number of awards in its homeland last year and was a hit at Sundance. The heartwarming story of Gizmo and his water-loving pals screens at midnight Saturday, December 17, at the Capitol Theatre. It's part of Cleveland Cinemas' Christmas movie series. Why, you ask? Surely you remember Phoebe Cates' awful Christmas story about her dad's chimney mishap, right? Sucky way to find out about Santa.
