Cleveland Cinemas Offering Free Popcorn for Those with Home Opener Tickets

[image-1]For the Cleveland Indians' fans who trekked downtown in the ghastly April weather only to have the home opener canceled, Cleveland Cinemas is offering a free 32-oz. popcorn to "offer some solace." 

In a press release, Cleveland Cinemas announced that the promotion is live at all Cleveland Cinemas locations, (but be advised that the Film Fest is taking place downtown). One popcorn per patron with a home opener ticket.  

It's also Bargain Monday, which means that admission (for 2D films) is already only $6. Given that you may have paid for a babysitter or taken the afternoon off, head over to the Capitol on the West Side or Shaker Square or the Cedar Lee on the east to ease the pain of the postponement with some quality cinema. 

Eye in the Sky, which Scene really enjoyed, is showing at 4:35 p.m. at the Cedar Lee. The Hank Williams' biopic I Saw the Light (which isn't great, but does boast a winning performance by Tom Hiddleston), plays at 4:10. 

At the Capitol, you can catch Batman V Superman (in 2D) at 7:00 p.m. As we mentioned in our review last week, it's got one or two things to like.
