Jason Momoa, of Aquaman and HBO's Game of Thrones, has been added to the Wizard World Cleveland line-up. Momoa will appear Saturday, March 9, at the Huntington Convention Center as part of the third annual festival of pop culture, gaming, sci-fi, comics and cosplay.
Momoa, who will sign autographs, pose for photos and all that jazz, joins a line-up of celebs that includes Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie); Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, The Goonies); Tom Welling (Smallville); and three actors from Charmed. More celebrity announcements will be coming soon.
The Wizard World conventions are basically regional Comic Cons. Tickets are $80 for the full weekend (3/8-3/10) or $40-$55 for single-day passes. There are specialty ticket packages for autographs and photo ops with Momoa himself, but these are much more expensive. A "Gold VIP Package," for example, will set you back $429.99. Children under 10 are free if accompanied by a paid adult.
