While the Cleveland International Film Festival continues with its fresh lineup of prestigious and award-winning films, a grittier cinematic celebration will be raging on for the 20th year. The biannual Cinema Wasteland Movie and Memorabilia Expo begins tomorrow, and promises the ultimate celebration of cult, horror, grindhouse, sleaze and everything in between.
Selected guests scheduled to appear are Dee Wallace (
E.T., Cujo, The Howling), P.J. Soles (
Rock 'n' Roll High School, Halloween, Carrie), Michael Berryman (
The Hills Have Eyes, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Devil's Rejects), Akron Native J.R. Bookwalter (
The Dead Next Door, Ozone, The 25th Anniversary Night of the Living Dead Documentary), Terry Carter (
Foxy Brown, Abby, Benji), Stephen Hibbert (
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Pulp Fiction), and stuntman Gary Kent (with
the premiere of a documentary about his career,
Love and Other Stunts).
Cinema Wasteland showcases the world of off-beat cinema old and new, and returns with the ever popular 16mm film screening series featuring films like
Cannonball, Chamber of Horrors, Guns of the Magnificent Seven and
Curse of the Undead. Additional (but not limited to) screenings of digital projection will take place featuring
Carrie, The Dead Next Door, Rock 'n' Roll High School, Pulp Fiction and
Foxy Brown with the aforementioned stars present for Q&A's.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. on April 6 and concludes 5 p.m. April 8.
