Just today, Cleveland Cinemas announced yet another new series. Dubbed the Shaker Square Film and Flavor Series, it will debut on Monday, June 27, with a screening of the classic Steven Spielberg movie
Jaws.
Attendees eat “an incredible meal, inspired by the film’s location” at Fire Food and Drink and then see a classic movie on the big screen at the nearby Shaker Square Cinemas.
The June 27 meal includes New England fish chowder (lingcod, clams, marlin, oyster crackers and house made bacon), cornbread and whipped butter wood grilled chuck sliders (local new creation farms beef, sesame seed bun, garden tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, cheddar cheese and dill potato salad) and strawberry pie (crumb crust, rhubarb gelatin, toasted meringue and vanilla custard). A vegan dinner option will be available with advance request.
Dinner takes place at 6 pm. at Fire; the film follows at 7:30 p.m. Patrons who attend the dinner will receive VIP seating at the film.
“
Jaws is an amazing movie,” says chef Doug Katz, owner of Fire Food and Drink, in a press release. “I can’t think of a better thriller for us to use to highlight some carefully curated summer bites.”
Tickets for the dinner and movie package are $36 (+tax and gratuity) and require advance reservations. Reservations for the dinner and movie must be made in advance at
