Writer-Director Adriana Trigiani to Appear at Local Screening of her New Film 'Big Stone Gap'

Described as “a heartwarming tale of family secrets and self-discovery in a small coal-mining town during the late 1970s,” writer and director Adriana Trigiani’s new film Big Stone Gap was shot entirely on location in the real Big Stone Gap located in the Appalachian Mountains. The cast features Ashley Judd, Patrick Wilson, Whoopi Goldberg, John Benjamin Hickey, Jane Krakowski, Anthony LaPaglia and Jenna Elfman. Trigiani will be in town this week to promote both the film and her new book, All the Stars in Heaven.

After tonight’s 7:45 screening at Regal Middleburg Heights, Trigiani (The Shoemaker’s Wife) will talk about the movie that’s inspired by her novel of the same name. Then, at 7 tomorrow night, she will hold an author talk at Parma-Snow Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library to promote her new book All the Stars in the Heavens, a New York Times, Barnes and Noble, and Independent Booksellers bestselling novel. Tickets for the screening are available at here. Tickets for the reading are available here.
