Big Stone Gap was shot entirely on location in the real Big Stone Gap located in the Appalachian Mountains. The cast features Ashley Judd, Patrick Wilson, Whoopi Goldberg, John Benjamin Hickey, Jane Krakowski, Anthony LaPaglia and Jenna Elfman.
