Thanks to the popularity of their ubiquitous single “Shut Up and Dance,” the alt pop band Walk the Moon is hugely popular. Last year, the group made the late night circuit and performed on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The foursome also performed on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards and at the American Music Awards, where it was nominated for Favorite Pop/Rock Duo or Group, New Artist of the Year and Favorite Alternative Rock Artist. As a result, it's graduated to bigger venues and has just announced an extensive summer tour, which kicks off on May 25 in San Diego and comes to Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on Aug. 20. Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday at livenation.com
