Founded in 2010 by two college colleagues,
Balance Grille, an Ohio-based fast Asian-fusion restaurant, is about to open a fifth location in downtown Cleveland.
To celebrate its imminent opening, it'll host a special preview event featuring local rapper Chip Tha Ripper (aka King Chip) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization of Chip’s choice, the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland.
The lunch-time fundraiser offers a chance to "meet and dine with King Chip, get a first-hand experience of Balance’s customizable menu and raise awareness and funds for a great local nonprofit."
“Balance likes to collaborate with local artists and influencers in order to form a genuine connection with the community that we’re working in,” says Justin Paat, Balance’s brand director, in an press release announcing the event.
“I chose to donate to the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland because I really did my research and saw that they go the extra mile to reach out to our community,” adds Chip. “They take a lot of initiative, and they are really making progress in our fight to nurture, nourish and replenish our people of Cleveland. The food that comes from Balance is what I stand behind, and they also take the time and effort to make everyone feel as good as their menu.”
The event is $10 per person, and
pre-registration is required.
