The second annual
Birdy party is another vivacious affair from Nicole Giglio, who orchestrated Spy's famous Kitty-Kat Masquerade Balls. Taking place at the Warehouse District's
Tramp, Birdy is a little taste of Cirque du Soleil and a big helping of eye candy on the side. A former Cirque performer,
Nefti will perform dizzying, gravity-defying feats in the Tramp stairwell, suspended from the ceiling, swirling from just a hook and one very durable ribbon. If aerial acrobatics don't float your boat, maybe you'll enjoy the dance troupe (pictured) -- six seductresses clad in little but body paint, feathers, makeup, and masks. And as jaw-dropping as that sounds, it's nothing compared to the choreography. Upstairs, Tramp resident
DJ
Scotty D spins dance, rock, house, and everything in between. Downstairs,
DJ Giuseppi will spin underground electronica and progressive breaks. On nights like this, it's a shame you only have five senses.
