Cain Park Hooks You Up With Really Good Concert Tickets

Apparently this is the week for concert-ticket deals. On the heels of yesterday’s Live Nation no-service-fee sale, Cain Park in Cleveland Heights has its own special offer on summer shows in its Evans Amphitheater.

Tomorrow only you can call the box office at 216.371-3000 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., utter the magic words “first five,” and for regular ticket prices (no scalpers involved!) get seats in the first five rows for Judy Collins (June 27), Livingston Taylor (July 2), Arlo Guthrie and Richie Havens (July 18), the Squirrel Nut Zippers (July 25), Verb Ballets (August 7), the Beach Boys (August 16) and the Gin Blossoms and Tonic (August 21).

Also through tomorrow only, you can buy tickets to the Big Cool Cats Music Festival, taking place at Cain Park’s Evans Amphitheater from noon-11 p.m. on June 20 for only $20. (After that, they're a wallet-busting $40).

The festival features five local acts: 70Lewis, Mo’ Mojo, the Magpies, Cats on Holiday and Mifune, a concluding jam session and an acoustic side stage booked by the educational nonprofit group Roots of American Music. —Anastasia Pantsios
