The music on the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger's debut album — mostly wispy folk and delicate pop — comes naturally. Of course, growing up the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono will do that. Sean Lennon and his girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl recorded Acoustic Sessions in their living room, and the sound is one of (as Lennon's father famously sang 40-plus years ago) love, love, love. Guitars, tambourines, banjos, vibraphones, and other assorted acoustic instruments wind their way through the album, but this is all about Muhl and Lennon — sounding more like his dad every year — working through their sorta boring heart play. There are some jagged edges here and there (like the closeted skeletons of "Jardin du Luxembourg," the water drips in "Shroedinger's Cat"), but Acoustic Sessions is more "#9 Dream" than "Revolution 9": head-in-the-clouds musings from the 35-year-old Lennon.
