Cellbound Release Debut Album

One casualty of the uncertainty surrounding when and whether or not the Jigsaw Saloon and Stage will re-open is local extreme-metal band Cellbound’s CD-release party. The sextet, known for the distinctive male-female vocals of Tom Herttna and Chris Emig, planned to celebrate the release with a show at the Parma Club April 18.

The album, Fallen Angels of the Sui Caedere (the band’s long-awaited full-length debut), will instead be formally introduced at a free show at Peabody’s on June 19. It is, however, available already a iTunes. Meanwhile, Cellbound won a battle of the bands to land an opening slot on the May 3 Music as a Weapon extravaganza at the Wolstein Center with Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira and Lacuna Coil.
