Watch Cleveland-Based Cloud Nothings Cover Coldplay's 'Clocks' in Ridiculous Fashion

Every Tuesday, the folks at AV Club, a website devoted to pop culture, release a new video of an indie rock band covering a classic tune. To date, acts such as Minus the Bear, Lee Fields, Old 97’s, Passenger, Austra and Fastball have covered tracks by T. Rex, Dolly Parton, Fugazi and Blink-182.

This week, Cleveland-based Cloud Nothings took on Coldplay’s “Clocks.”

Here t,he group samples the Coldplay tune and then adds a bunch of distortion and random synthesizers to the song, resulting in something that hardly resembles the original track. Yes, those are animal noises.
