Concert Review: Jonas Brothers at Quicken Loans Arena

Justin who?
  • "Justin who?"

Even though Justin Bieber has pretty much taken over the hearts and bedroom walls of teenage girls everywhere, Jonas Brothers still have a loyal following, which they proved last night at Quicken Loans Arena.

And they proved it even before they took the stage: Thousands of screaming voices rose every time one of the three brothers showed up on the giant video screens during Demi Lovato’s opening set.

Lovato and the Jonases star together in the upcoming Disney Channel movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which airs on Friday. Many of the songs in Lovato’s set are from the movie, and supporting cast members joined her onstage.

Jonas Brothers played a few songs from the movie too, but they mostly focused on the songs fans wanted to hear, like “Year 3000.”

Mixing things up, the most talented JoBro, Nick, accepted a challenge to perform “Introducing Me” in record time (a little more than two minutes) as the audience cheered him on.

With onstage fireworks (real ones), an impressive light show, and Joe Jonas repeatedly jumping into the audience, it was a night many girls won’t forget. Or at least until Justin Bieber comes to town in November. —Crystal Pirri
