Country singer-guitarist Billy Currington famously took a chance and moved to Nashville immediately after graduating from high school.

The decision turned out to be a good one. He would have a huge hit with his 2003 self-titled debut, which yielded the singles "Walk a Little Straighter" and "I Got a Feelin'."

His association with country singer Shania Twain, who collaborated with him on her hit "Party for Two," played an instrumental role in shaping his career too.

Currington has just announced the dates of a spring tour, and he'll come to Hard Rock Live on April 19. LOCASH will open the show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
