Country Singer-Guitarist Toby Keith to Play First-Ever Bash on the Bay Festival

[image-1]The organizers of Bash on the Bay, a country music festival that takes place on Aug. 31 at the Put-in-Bay airport, have enlisted country singer-guitarist Toby Keith to perform at their inaugural festival.

Known for ultra-patriotic anthems such as “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American),” a song in which he asserts, “we’ll put a boot in your ass/It’s the American way,” Keith regularly stirs up controversy with his songs and statements (he once feuded publically with the Dixie Chicks).

Miller Ferry and the Jet Express will provide late night boat service during the festival, and a number of food trucks will be on hand as well. Tickets cost $39 to $150.
