Dreadful Yawns to Perform All of "Rest"

dreadful-yawns-rest.jpg

Cleveland's Dreadful Yawns will perform their 2007 album, Rest, in its entirety on May 28 at the Beachland Tavern.

The Yawns lineup that recorded the album — Ben Gmetro, Dave Molnar, Mike Allen, Charlie Drusedow and Elizabeth Kelly — will reunite for this show.

Rest's laidback twang should ease right in with the Tavern's cozy setting. It's our favorite album by the band, which has gone through some changes since the record's release.

You can listen to the epic "Candles" below. Then you should buy the whole thing.

Also on the bill are locals Mystery of Two and Prisoners. Both of them are pretty good, so get there early.

Best of all, tickets are only $5 for the 10 p.m. performance. —Michael Gallucci (follow me on Twitter @mgallucci)
