Drive-By Truckers Return With New Album, Tour and Free Music

One of the '00s' most durable bands, Drive-By Truckers, aren't slowing down in the new decade.

The band has a new album, The Big To-Do, coming out on March 16.

Not so surprisingly (since they've spent about 90 percent of the past decade on the road), the Truckers also have a new tour lined up in support of the album, starting, um, this week on home turf in Huntsville, Alabama (maybe they've been on the road the whole time).

And, yay!, they're coming back to Cleveland, with a gig at the Beachland Ballroom (where they played a couple of the best shows I saw in the '00s). It's on April 11, which is a Sunday, so that kinda sucks.

But here's some good news: You can pick up a free mp3 of the song "This Fucking Job" here. It's a Patterson Hood song, so there's plenty of loud guitars and raging against the Man. —Michael Gallucci
