Shocking report from overseas: Pete Doherty has been arrested for shooting up on a plane.
The British trouble-magnet (who used to front the Libertines before his drug abuse got him kicked out) has been laying kinda low lately. Even after releasing his first solo album a few months back — a perfect opportunity for major overexposure — the singer-songwriter has been absent from tabloids and websites.
Possibly trying to keep up with fellow U.K. casualty Amy Winehouse, who's also back in the news after a relatively quiet couple months, Doherty was busted in Geneva over the weekend.
Reports say that Doherty was found in the plane's toilet slumped over, with a needle in his arms. He was arrested, fined and set free — presumably so he can score more smack and inject it into his veins on a bus or something. —Michael Gallucci
