Ten years it's been since
Hanson's "Mmmbop" ruled the airwaves, though it was probably echoing around in your head until last week. Now in their mid-20s, the three brothers Hanson are industry veterans, and they've parlayed that one-hit smash into some soulful pop that's more timeless, but not drastically different -- the new "Something Going Around" plays like a mature sequel, and Isaac Hanson's keyboards are still as gritty and sweet as a sugarcane soda. And FM-rock fans take note: "The Running Man" isn't a Steely Dan cover, but it sure sounds like one. The kids are all right.
