The local metal act SHOK PARIS has begun recording Full Metal Jacket, its fourth full-length studio album and first since 1989’s Concrete Killers. The album is scheduled for an early 2015 release via the local imprint Auburn Records. Drum tracks for 11 songs have been completed. Guitars and bass will be tracked next. Guitarist Ken Erb is producing the album and Tony Alberts (Destructor) will handle the engineering. The track list includes “Black Boots,” “Brothers In Arms,” “Do Or Die,” “Fall From Grace,” “Full Metal Jacket,” “Hell Day,” “Nature Of The Beast,” “Set The World On Fire,” “Symphony of the Sea,” “Those Eyes” and “Up The Hammers.” In addition to Erb, the current lineup features singer Vic Hix, guitarist John Korzekwa, bassist Ed Stephens and drummer Donovan Kenaga.
