Earlier this year, indie rockers Algiers released their self-titled debut album and snagged an opening slot with Interpol. Now, the Atlanta-based four-piece has been tapped to play the next Sonic Sessions at the Rock Hall. The concert takes place at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The local rock act Lives of the Saints will open. Tickets are $5.50. They're on sale now at the Rock Hall box office or online at tickets.rockhall.com. All Sonic Sessions events are general admission, standing room only. Tickets also include admission into the Museum’s Ahmet Ertegun Main Exhibition Hall.
