Classical and jazz guitarist Fareed Haque has won numerous awards during a career that stretches back decades. At 8 p.m. on Friday, he appears at Heights Music Shop (2174 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights) to give a performance on the Moogtar, an innovative analog future-guitar developed by the Moog corporation.

Haque and his trio will "transport you thru visuals and electronica into the Grungiiverse." His band features Greg Fundis (Old Shoe, Tony Monaco Trio) on drums and electronic percussion and Alex Austin (Mathgames) on electric-upright bass. Then, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, he’ll conduct a jazz/rock workshop at the store.

Tickets to the concert are $20. Tickets to the workshop are $25. A pass to both events costs $35. Tickets are available at Heights Music Shop.
