Former Credence Clearwater Revival singer
John Fogerty has written some great music over the years. To celebrate his legacy, he’s embarking on a tour he’s dubbed 1969. It’s the year he wrote and recorded three albums with Credence Clearwater Revival. That was arguably the band's peak; he would leave shortly afterward and the group was never the same. While Fogerty refuses to perform with his former Credence bandmates, he's continued to write and record solo material. He’ll publish his memoir in October, and he’ll bring the 1969 tour to Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica on July 1. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday at
