This past weekend’s Cleveland 100 at Peabody’s featured performances by 100 local bands. Saturday night's metal showcase attracted a wide range of fans of all ages. Long hair, band T-shirts, tattoos, and piercings were sported by most audience members, leaving little room for random emo kids.
The brutal Obliterate kicked off their set with “We Like to Kill Stuff” – which pretty much set the tone for the evening. The band’s Dragonforce-like guitar solos and ridiculously fast drums attracted many metal fanatiics to the huge pit that formed during the first song.
