Now in its fifth year, Bunbury Music Festival, which takes place in downtown Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove from June 3 to 5, has become one of the state’s best music festivals.

Just today, PromoWest Productions announced the 2016 lineup. It features national, regional and local acts including the Killers, Florence and the Machine, and Mudcrutch, the Southern rock band featuring Mike Campbell, Tom Leadon, Randall Marsh, Tom Petty and Benmont Tench that predates Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The '80s pop act Tears for Fears is slated to play, and rapper Ice Cube is on the bill as well.

The rest of the lineup includes a number of indie and underground acts such as Haim, Of Monsters and Men, Grimes, Big Grams (Big Boi + Phantogram), the Wombats, the Mowgli’s, the Dear Hunter, Here Come the Mummies, Austin Plaine and Red Wanting Blue. Jam rockers Umphrey’s McGee and G. Love & Special Sauce will perform as well.

“We are very excited to host the festival again this year,” says PromoWest Productions’ Scott Stienecker in a press release. “This lineup is the best yet! We are also looking forward to implementing the latest fest technology with RFID wristbands which should alleviate any challenges that we came across in 2015.”
